Fastway Hitch Locks - Standard Pin Lock - FA86-00-3685 Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Fastway Trailer Hitch Lock and Adjustment Pin Lock Set. This flush-style lock set is for the Fastway Flash E-series HD ball mounts, and they're designed to help prevent theft. The hitch receiver lock, which is actually going to be the shorter one, this is used in place of a standard hitch pin and clip to secure the shank of your ball mount inside the receiver tube of your hitch. Then this pin right here is the locking adjustment pin. This is used in place of the standard adjustment pin to secure the ball mount platform to the actual ball mount. They're made from a sturdy and durable steel construction with a really nice, sleek, chrome-plated finish that's going to really help it resist rust and corrosion. It's got a nice, easy grip design here on the lock heads. more

Curt Hitch Locks - Standard Pin Lock - C23024 Review- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Hitch lock. This is designed for an inch-and-a-quarter and two-inch hitches. A hitch lock is designed to provide security to accessories installed in your hitch. This hitch lock simply locks your accessory to your hitch. It is much more secure than a standard pin and clip. One of the neat things about this unit is that it's designed to fit an inch-and-a-quarter by inch-and-a-quarter trailer hitch receiver, and it's designed to fit a two-inch by two-inch trailer hitch receiver. It's going to come with a half-inch diameter pin for the smaller hitch, inch-and-a-quarter by inch-and-a-quarter, and then it's going to come with an adapter sleeve that converts the half-inch pin to a five-eighths-inch diameter pin, which allows it to be installed by a two-inch by two-inch trailer hitch receiver. The pin itself is made from a steel construction, features a durable chrome-plated finish that's going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Hitch Lock for 1 and 1/25 and 2 inch hitches. Now this hitch lock offers maximum security for accessories mounted in your trailer hitch. It is a very versatile lock which is a great feature of the unit, makes it very unique. It actually comes with this adapter sleeve, which I'll show you here in a moment. This converts the pin size from a 1/2 inch diameter pin to a 5/8 inch diameter pin. This allows you to use this hitch lock in an 1.25 by 1.25 receiver tube and a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt hitch lock for 2 inch and 2-1/2 inch hitches. This hitch lock provides ultimate security to whatever is installed in the receiver tube of your hitch. The pin portion slides through the hitch pin holes and the pin holes of the accessory that's in the hitch, and then the lock prevents the accessory from being removed from the hitch. It's constructed of a stainless steel construction which is very strong and durable. It's going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. It's going to feature a watertight dust cap that protects the internal components, and it's going to come with two keys. Each key has a nice easy-grip design and they're keyed alike so either key will work for the lock. The diameter of the actual pin is 5/8 of an inch. more

Deadbolt Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock Review RH2-XL- Video
Today we're going to be taking a look at the Deadbolt Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for one and a quarter inch hitches, part number RH2-XL. This is what the hitch lock looks like once it's installed on a vehicle. As you can see it fits through our half inch pin hole for our one and a quarter inch hitch. It's locked in place to avoid being tampered with, so that you won't have a problem with any of your hitch mounted accessories being stolen. It's got nice texture on either end of it, so that if you're dealing with it and maybe something's a little bit wet, you shouldn't have a problem still being able to grip it and get it apart. Now, let's take it off to take a little bit closer look. To remove it I'm just going to pull the little dust cover back, which helps to protect it from dirt and water getting inside the lock and causing it to rust. I'll insert the key, then I'll just turn it to the left, like loosening a bolt. more

This will conveniently face towards you, not off to the side. It is a push to lock mechanism, which makes locking easy and foolproof. Today, we'll be reviewing part number BD580400. This is the Bulldog Lifelong trailer hitch receiver lock for 2-inch hitches. The bent pin-style trailer hitch receiver lock is used in place of your standard pin and clip to help prevent theft of a ball mount or hitch mount accessory. It's going to allow you to secure your accessory successfully inside of your trailer hitch. The ball bearing lock system provides maximum security and ease of use. All you need to do is pop the deadbolt onto the end of the pin, and the lock engages automatically simply just by pushing down on this portion here. Then to disengage that, simply take one of the two keys, twist it until that end pops back out, and then, the lock is disengaged from the pin. The solid steel pin offers superior strength and durability, has a nice chrome plating so it is going to resist rust and corrosion. The trailer hitch receiver lock is used in place of your standard hitch pin and clip to prevent theft of your ball mount or hitch mount accessory. The anti-rattle pin is going to reduce the amount of play and vibration inside of your hitch connection. This does feature a barrel style lock that comes with two keys, has a weather-resistant rubber dust cap, so it's going to help keep out any dust or moisture from getting inside of the lock core, and the system is made from a sturdy steel construction with a nice chrome finish, so it is going to stand up well against rust and corrosion and provide a little bit of style as well. Show you real quick how this installs. Again, it is designed for 1-1/4-inch style receiver. You do want to make sure that you have a hollow shank when using this. It will not fit with a solid shank ball mount or accessory, so what you would do is you would place this system here inside of the shank of your accessory. Once you have that in there, you want to be sure that you line up the spring hole as well as the block hole with the pin hole on each side of the shank. Once you have that set, then you're ready to insert your accessory inside of your hitch. more
